MOST COMMON QUESTION:

"How can I get my site listed well with search engines?

It sounds like a pretty simple question, but sadly, search engine submission can be a complicated subject, and pricey to boot.  Search engines are misunderstood in a major way. It is possible to get 100 of 1,000 people a day visiting your site through the major search engines, but it isn't easy. You cannot just go built a site and submit once, you will notice little or no added traffic from such methods.

Research Your Keywords:

  • Properly use all of the META Tag fields.
  • Index characteristics specific to individual search engines.
  • Submit often, or use a service that does it for you.
  • As often as possible, use keywords within site.
  • Repetition is key.

Although we don't suggest any specific provider to use for your submissions, we do recommend spending a minimum of $20 a month on an on-going basis, for as long as the site is up. $50 a month is better. In most cases, the more you spend the better your rankings. Also the text and image content of each page is extremely important. If you have no text on a page with your keywords, you will never get great listings.

Repetition of your keyword phrases in your site content is the key because sites like Goggle see this as relevancy. The more relevant your site is, the higher your rankings. Be specific with your terms, use keyword phrases in your Meta Tags as well as your text and image names - and submit often.
